As a Product Designer, you will work in a Product Execution Team consisting of UX, Engineering, Product and Data talents. You will assist the team in designing beautiful interfaces that solve our clients' business challenges. We are working with a number of Tier 1 banks to develop web applications to manage AML, KYC and sanction lists processes. This role is ideal if you are looking to advance your career in FinTech or Big Data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be involved in every stage of the product design cycle, from the discovery phase to hand-off to developers to user acceptance testing.
- Work with business analysts, product managers and technical teams to lead product design.
- Maintain a high quality design process and ensure that designs are faithfully reproduced in code.
- Accurately estimate the time needed to complete project tasks during planning sessions.
- Participate in sketching sessions with people outside the project team.
- Create, iterate and maintain deliverable UI elements, including sketch files, style guides, high-fidelity prototypes, micro-interaction specifications and pattern libraries.
- Make data-driven design decisions by identifying assumptions for testing in each sprint, and work with team analysts to plan moderated usability testing sessions.
- Design excellent, responsive user interfaces and understand that using common interface patterns is better for UX than reinventing the wheel.
- Present your work to the broader team during a "Show & Tell." session.
Skills and experience:
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a Product Designer.
- You have experience working with Sketch and InVision or Framer X tools.
- You have experience working in an Agile environment - ideally in two-week sprints.
- You are familiar with Jira and Confluence tools in your workflow.
